Let's look into the details of India's first electric maxi- scooter "TVS X" which was launched at a introductory price of Rs.2.50 lakh and pre bookings for TVS X can be done through company's website. The deliveries of TVS X will be done across 15 cities which will start from November 2023 in phase-wise manner.
TVS X Design features:
Design wise TVS X stands out with it's sporty maxi-scooter design. It comes with a vertically stacked LED headlight placed at the Centre of the apron. It has a premium crossover appearance, as the makers described it. In contrast to standard scooter designs, the battery is housed inside the footboard space. The split seat with the visible chassis and the sleek rear side panels gives it a very sporty look. With the creative combination of red, black, and blue element, it provides a superb finish.
TVS X Battery, power & top speed:
High performance is built into the TVS X, especially with its 4.44kWh battery pack that produces 15PS of power and 40N of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 105 km/h.
TVS X Charging time and Range:
The manufacturer gives the choice of the Smart X home quick charger (3 kW fast charger), which offers 0–50% in 50 minutes, or the portable charger (950W charger), which gives 0–80% in 4 hours 30 minutes. The IDC claimed range of the TVS X is 140 km in a single charge.
