Matter E-bike has a sporty street bike design with LED Lights all around, split seats, clip-on handle bars, split rear grab rail. The tank area houses a 5 litre glove box with a charging socket. With a 7-inch touchscreen instrument console, the bike offers features such as turn-by-turn navigation, notification alerts, and music playback. Over-the-air (OTA) updates are also supported.
An electric motor with a power output of 10.5 kW provides torque of 520 Nm for this bike. Geared at four speeds, it comes with a manual transmission. Matter E bike is powered by a 5 KWH of liquid cooled battery and its is claimed to offer a range of 125 - 150 KM on a single charge . For a single full charge, it takes of about 5 hours.
Matter's first e-bike appears to be a near production model. The company shall launch their first e bike in January 2023, with deliveries can be expected from April 2023 onwards. Matter is looking to grow their dealer ship to 200 by the end of 2022. There is no official price disclosure from the brand, but we can expect it to be priced at around Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
