Ultraviolette F77 :- Claims 307 KM in a single full charge

TVS-backed electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolet Automotive has announced the launch of its first electric motorcycle, the Ultraviolet F77, in the Indian market on November 24, 2022. The company had showcased the pre-production version of the motorcycle in November 2019.


The new UV F77 will be manufactured at the brand's new manufacturing and assembly factory near Electronic City, Bangalore. The new facility, spread over 70,000 square feet, will manufacture around 15,000 electric motorcycles in the first year. The facility will be capable of producing up to 1,20,000 units per annum.


The new F77 electric motorcycle comes with modern styling that includes a single pod headlight at the front, fiber covers over the front forks, a massive fairing that covers the battery pack and split seats. The UV F77 comes based on a steel trellis frame.

The Ultravilolette F77 is powered by a 25kW electric motor. It is connected to three 4.2kWh lithium-ion batteries. This air-cooled motor churns out 33.5 bhp of power at 2,250 rpm against 90 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from zero to 60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and from zero to 100 kmph in 7.5 seconds.

The company also claims that the Ultraviolet F77 electric motorcycle can reach a top speed of 147 kmph. It offers three power modes namely Eco, Sport and Insane. The company also claims that the F77 battery can be fully charged in five hours using a standard charger and 1.5 hours using a fast charger. The company also claims a range of 307 km on a full charge. For braking, it gets a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The suspension system includes a USD front fork and pre-load adjustable monoshock unit.
