The Indian EV manufacturer Okinawa headquartered  in Gurgaon has launched a high-speed electric scooter to take on the premium electric scooter segment, named OKHI 90 at Rs 1,21,866. By including FAME II subsidy and with extra subsidies in select states, the final price will even go lower. Okhi 90 is available only in one variant.  

Design

The Okinawa Okhi90 has a fair design with a clean minimalist style that also has a sporty feel. On the front, it gets an LED-headlight setup with DRLs and sleek turn indicators.

Color

 The Okhi90 is available in a range of colors: Glossy Wine Red, Glossy Pearl White, Glossy Ash Gray, and Glossy Jewelry Blue.

Powertrain

Okinawa Okhi 90 is powered by a belt driven centrally-mounted 3.8kW motor paired to a detachable 72V 50Ah li-ion battery pack. The company claims that Okhi 90 offers a range of 160 KM on a single full charge and can achieve a top speed of 80 - 90 KMPH.

 Okinawa has given 16-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tire's at both ends to help the Okhi 90 to run smoothly on rough roads and different terrains very smoothly. Okhi 90 also gets a long travel suspension (telescopic front fork, twin rear shock absorbers) at the front and rear, and a high ground clearance of 175mm.

 Okinawa added many features to Okhi 90 like inbuilt navigation, digital speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, mobile charging USB-port, luggage box light, geo-fencing, secure parking, Rider alerts include battery info, speed alerts, calls and notifications, as well as insurance and maintenance reminders
