EeVe Soul launched with removable and swappable battery.

The on going electric vehicle revolution has opened doors of opportunity for new brands across the world and thus this Indian start-up EeVe India owned by the Bharat Group.

EeVe India, an Electric two wheeler start-up companies based at Odisha had launched its flagship Electric Scooter EeVe Soul on 14th of December 2021 with a price range of Rs 1.40 Lakh. EeVe India plans to make the scooter available by next year as there 6th model. EeVe India also have other models known as EeVe Xeniaa ,4U, Wind, Your and Ahava.

Battery:

 EeVe Soul has a 1200W Bosch motor which is powered by two removable and swappable lithium ferrous phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of 2.2kWh each. The batteries are placed under the seat instead of placing in the floorboard as seen in other e-scooters. This batteries can be removed and charged via regular power sockets taking around 3-4 hours for a complete charge. EeVe Soul comes with a 3 year standard warranty.

 

Range and Top speed:

 EeVe Soul comes with 3 different riding modes. In the first or Eco mode, company claims a range of 120 KM with a top speed of 40 km/h and the second and third mode provide a top speed of 50km/h and 60km/h respectively with a reduction in range.

Top features:

EeVe Soul is equipped with features such as LED DRLs, GPS navigation, USB port, anti-theft locking system with geo tagging, geo fencing and reverse mode. It comes with IP68 waterproof rating.

 

It also has Disc brakes with Combined Breaking System ( CBS) and telescopic suspension at the front and four step adjustable rear suspension.

Future plans:

The company has set ambitious plans to emerge as one of the leading brands in e- mobility. As a part of this company had announced that it will invest Rs 1,000 crore to improve its facilities like EV charging network, expansion of  sales network and development of new electric two wheelers.

EeVe India is planning to achieve 50,000 sales within the next couple of years and earn a 10 per cent share in the electric two-wheeler market.
