India's first electric scooter with swappable battery - BOUNCE INFINITY E1

Bounce is a Bangalore based electric mobility startup. They launched their first scooter Bounce Infinity E1 at a starting price of just Rs 45,0 99 (Ex-Showroom Bangalore), they can pre-book for a refundable amount of Rs 499. Delivery are set to start from March 2022. Apart from its affordable price it comes with a unique feature.

Bounce Infinity E1 is India's first EV to offer 'battery as a service' option. That is the vehicle will be delivered without a battery and customers can hire the battery at a subscription rate. This facilitates its users to travel without worrying about charging their EV. Which means we can swap an empty battery with a fully charged battery from a battery swapping station within a couple of minutes at a cost of Rs.35 per swap and continue the journey. Nearest swapping station can be located by using Bounce app.

Bounce Infinity E1 is also available with battery and charger which is priced at Rs 68,999 (Ex-showroom, Bangalore) and the price for the scooter with Battery-as-a-Service is priced at Rs 45,099 (Ex-showroom, Bangalore).

Battery, range and power :

The e-scooter comes with 2kWh, portable lithium ion battery and there is IP 67 waterproof rating. The battery can be charged in 4-5 hours by connecting to any regular electric socket and offers a range of 85 km per charge. It comes with a comprehensive warranty of 3 years or up to 50,000 km.

The motor can produce a torque of 83 Nm, with a top speed of 65 KMPH and can do 0 to 40 KMPH in 8 seconds. There's also a Power Mode and Eco Mode.

It comes with a digital speedometer, projector headlights, LED lights, 12-liter boot space, hydraulic telescopic front suspension and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Remote tracking facility, anti-theft, tow alert, drag mode, reverse mode and cruise control, are also among the attractive features of Infinite E1.
