The need for environmentally friendly transportation is at an all-time high. The automotive industry has been undergoing a major change towards electric cars (EVs), as seen by the surge in sales of EVs. Mahindra & Mahindra, a major player in the global automotive industry, entered the Indian Electric Vehicle market with their all-electric XUV 400.
The Mahindra XUV 400 is a compact SUV that comes in two models: the XUV 400 EC is available at a staring price of Rs. 15.98 lakh (ex-showroom) and the XUV 400 EL is priced at Rs. 19.18 lakh.

Battery capacity and Milage:
The XUV 400 EC has a 35.5kWh battery that provides a driving range of 375 km, while the XUV 400 EL has a slightly larger battery with a capacity of 39.4kWh that provides a driving range of 456 km. It can be charged from 0 - 100% in 50 minutes using a 7.2 kW DC charger.
Performance:
The front axile motor of the XUV 400 EV has a maximum power output of 147.51 bhp and a maximum torque of 310 nm.
Dimensions and features:
The XUV400 EV has length of 4200mm, width of 1821mm and a wheelbase of 2600mm. This electric SUV features three drive modes: fun, rapid, and fearless. It also includes a single pedal drive system. The 17.78cm Touch Infotainment System, R16 Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, Leatherette Seats, Rear View Camera, and Electric Sunroof are further features.
