JOY E-BIKE - WardWizard's Mihos Electric Scooter: A Retro Design with Modern Features

WardWizard, the parent company of Joy e-bike, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer, unveiled their new Mihos electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida with an introductory price of 1.49 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). The company states that the scooter is a high-speed electric vehicle with PDCPD material for durability, and has a retro design that provides a comfortable ride and an ergonomic shape for easy navigation in crowded areas. The Mihos has a wheelbase of 1,360mm and features a telescopic suspension at the front and a mono reversible spring suspension at the back.

The Joy e-bike Mihos electric scooter is powered by a Lithium-ion battery with Nickel Manganese Cobalt chemistry that has a capacity of 2.5 kWh. This allows the scooter to travel up to 100 kilometers on a single charge and can be recharged in 4 hours. The scooter's motor is 1.5kW and produces 95Nm of torque. It features telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear for handling rough terrain, and disc brakes at both ends with a hydraulic combi-braking system

The Mihos has a retro design and measures 1,864mm in length, 700mm in width, and 1,178mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,360mm and a ground clearance of 175mm. The seat is 740mm above the ground. It also comes equipped with features such as the Joy E-connect app, reverse mode, geofencing, antitheft, and keyless operation. It is available in four colors: Metallic Blue, Solid Black Glossy, Solid Yellow Glossy and Pearl White. 

The Mihos electric scooter has a design that features rounded panels, round light clusters with black elements around the turn signals on the front apron and around the rear taillamps, giving it a retro scooter look.

The Mihos electric scooter comes with a variety of features such as the Joy E-connect app, reverse mode, antitheft, and others that enhance the scooter's functionality and safety. It also has side stand sensors and a hydraulic combi-braking system. The electric scooter comes in glossy yellow, pearl white, glossy black, and metallic blue color options and can seat up to two riders. Reservations for the electric scooter will be accepted at the company's over 600 authorized dealerships starting January 12.
