The Mumbai based EV Start up PMV has launched its first electric car named EaS-E. It will be the smallest and most affordable electric car available in India. PMV Eas-E is priced at 4.79 lakh and this price is available only for first 10000 customers. This car is now available for pre booking for an amount of 2000 and can be done through the official website of PMV.
Design & Dimensions:
Although EaS-E is a two seater car it has got four doors. It is because the two seats are arranged in front and back position. It can accommodate two adults and one child. The round headlights give this car a funky look along with the long white led bar light on the entire width of the car. This car is smaller than TATA Nano in every dimension. It has a length of 2915mm, width is 1157mm, height is 1600mm, wheel base is 2087mm, ground clearance is 170mm and curb weight is 550kg.
Battery & performance:
The smallest electric car of India is available with three battery options, which will offer a range of upto 120km, 160km and 200km respectively on a single charge. The EV offers a top speed of 70 kmph and can clock 0 to 40 kmph in 5 seconds. It has a maximum power of 13 hp and 50 Nm of torque. The EaS-E can be fully charged within 4 hours and can be charged using a 15A outlet, also the company offers a 3KW AC charger.
Features:
The EaS-E comes with remote park assist, air conditioning, keyless entry, digital infotainment system, USB charger, Bluetooth connectivity, onboard navigation, access to music and call control to connected smartphone.
PMV is planning to start the sale by the middle half of 2023. Currently there are no rivals for this car from the segment. TATA Tiago is the cheapest electric car currently available in India.
