The Ampere Nexus sports a modern design with flat body panels featuring subtle creases for added visual appeal. It's available in four attractive colors: Zanskar Aqua, Steel Grey, Indian Red, and Lunar White, catering to various aesthetic preferences.
Performance and Powertrain:
Powered by a robust 4kW electric motor, the Ampere Nexus can reach a top speed of 93kmph. It offers different riding modes to suit your needs – City mode for urban commuting with a top speed of 63kmph, and Eco mode for optimized energy efficiency with a top speed of 42kmph. Additionally, the scooter features a Limp Home mode for continued functionality when the battery drops below 20 percent. With a 3kWh LFP battery, it offers a certified range of 136km on a single charge and can be fully charged in a little over three hours.
Chassis and Suspension:
The Nexus boasts a new under bone chassis, providing a sturdy and stable platform for riders. Its suspension system includes a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride experience. Greaves Electric Mobility's Launch:
Greaves Electric Mobility, the manufacturer behind the Ampere Nexus, has opened bookings for the scooter at Rs 9,999, with deliveries set to commence in the second half of May. Designed and made in India, the Ampere Nexus has already undergone extensive testing, including a Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) ride, earning a place in the India Book of Records.
