PURE EV, a leading EV two-wheeler company based in Hyderabad, is preparing to launch its first commuter electric motorcycle, the Pure EV ecoDryft. This electric commuter motorcycle is entirely designed, developed, and manufactured in India. It will target the Indian commuter category, which accounts for 80% of all motorcycles sold in India and more than 50% of all two-wheelers sold in the country.
Pure EV has already set up demo vehicles for test drives at its shops across India. The new Pure EV ecoDryft pricing will be published in the first week of January 2023, and the Hyderabad-based firm is ready with the necessary inventory before the booking window opens. The new electric motorcycle will be available in four colours: black, grey, blue, and red.
A 3.0 kWh battery pack and an 3 KW electric motor power the Pure EV ecoDryft electric vehicle. The motorcycle is advertised as having a top speed of 75 kmph and a range of up to 135 kilometres on a single charge and it takes six hours to get from 0% to 100%.
This bike has features that are common among commuters who live in big cities. For example, it has a stylish, commuter-like look, and it comes with a front disc brake. It also has a hub motor at the rear, which means that it can travel more quickly and easily than a regular bike with an engine.
The EcoDryft's suspension system consists of a telescopic fork and twin shocks, and it has front disc and rear drum brakes. An LCD panel with three ride modes, regenerative braking, a remote start-stop system, and all-LED lighting are among the features.
The prices of the e-bike will be revealed in the first week of January 2023 and we expect it to cost around Rs 1,300,000 (inclusive of the cost of the showroom).
