iGowise Mobility, an electric vehicle start-up based in Bengaluru, India, is set to launch its latest electric scooter, the BeiGo X4. The scooter is marketed as an SUV among scooters and boasts a range of 150 km and fire-resistant LifePO4 batteries.
The BeiGo X4 has a number of features aimed at providing a comfortable and convenient riding experience, including a 60-liter storage space, a built-in passenger footrest, ample legroom, and a triple-disc anti-skid braking system. Additionally, the scooter uses twin-wheel technology for self-balancing and is designed to be easy to ride in traffic, on hills, and even while reversing.iGo Mobility is focused not only on the design and engineering of its vehicles but also on mobility technologies. The company's CTO and Chief of Design, Suresh Salla, notes that iGo is using innovative engineering to provide stabilization without sacrificing performance or agility, and without expensive technologies. In addition, the company is utilizing IoT and AI technologies to offer incentives for responsible driving through cashbacks and rewards.
In line with its goal of making mobility more accessible to the masses, Go is planning to launch a pay-as-you-go vehicle subscription with no down payment. The company is in talks with several EV financing partners to make this a reality. The BeiGo X4 electric scooter is expected to have an introductory price of Rs 1.1 lakh for the base model and come with a 5-year warranty/100,000 km.
Finally, iGo has a production facility in Whitefield, Bengaluru, with an annual capacity of 30,000 units. The company plans to invest in automation and testing equipment for the final stages of production to ensure that its vehicles are of the highest quality.
