HERO ELECTRIC - OPTIMA CX ER :- 2022, Price, Mileage, Colour and Features

 Hero electric has introduced another  electric scooter to its lineup - OPTIMA CX ER. The Optima CX is similar to Optima HX in its look wise and it is an updated variant of optima HX E-Scooter. Optima CX is available in 2 variant - optima CX (single battery) and Optima CX ER ( dual battery). The dual battery variant of Optima CX ER  is available at a price tag of ₹ 77,490 /- (ex-showroom Bangalore). 

Design

The optima CX  ER comes with a modern appearance and an attractive design. It gets a stiffer chassis which should help in handling and load carrying capacity of the vehicle and also have  improved battery range, improved top speed and braking system. The Optima CX gets the telescopic suspension set-up from optima HX and gets a 12 - inch alloy wheels at both ends.

Powertrain

The Optima CX series is powered by a 550 KW BLDC motor that returns a peak output of 1.2 KW (1.6 bhp), which can attain a maximum speed of 45 KMPH. This optima series gets a larger 51.2 Volt, 30 Ah Lithium ferro phosphate battery pack. The dual battery variant packs with two 51.2 V  30Ah batteries.

Range & Charging time

The Hero Electric claims that the Optima CX ER (dual battery) can now offer a range of 140 KM, where the base variant - Optima CX offers a driving range of 82 KM on a full charge. It takes of about 4-5 hours to get fully charged since CX ER is provided with a stronger dual charger set-up.

Features 

The Optima CX comes with a fully digital instrument cluster which displays all the information.  The other features include:- LED headlamps, cruise control, regenerative braking, walk assist, reverse mode, negative backlit instrument console, USB port, remote lock and anti-theft warning.
